Located in a flat, residential, open and quiet area, the project develops a residential building consisting of two staggered elements each one of three floors above ground.

Two parallelepipeds of identical dimensions house the apartments, the volumes are connected through the vertical distribution space. The top floor is occupied by a large attic apartment whose terrace crowns the building.

The offset of the volume generates an entrance square for the building, giving all the apartments the possibility to face south and been open on all sides, articulating the small volume.

The location in a very green and quiet neighborhood suggested to open the apartments. Therefore a glass skin delimits the north, east and south fronts. The facades are protected against solar radiation by sliding shutters.

The sunscreens constitute a kinetic facade, which changes according to the hours of the day, mood and the activities of those who live in the apartments.
