A house that houses two homes that together form a generous podium above to admire the beautiful bucolic landscape that welcomes the building.
The orography defines a precise height above which always open and pleasant view is enriched by the glares and reflections of the lake.
To obtain two homes that can both be a privileged observation point of the landscape, a vertical division of the property is proposed.
Two perfect squares whose union generates a house.
The path starts from a cave, a space below the pure volume that contains the bedrooms. Crossing vertically the volume you reach the living areas. Spaces of great height, full of light, that dematerialize towards the sky, open towards the nearby landscape and projected into the remote one.
The expression of the roofs is very important. They are the backdrop facades of the house, visible from the surrounding mountains and point of connection between the living rooms and the sky.
The living rooms are complex volumes, places poised between outside and inside, created to capture the nuances of light every day all year round. The places that can accommodate collections and where to live passions.
The entrance plaza, the garage, and the swimming pool located at the top of the land constitute the common spaces of the two houses. The vertical paths that join them become exhibition spaces to live.
